"Maid in the Shade"
Maple and Cherry 16"Wide x 4.5"High x 8"Deep   This carving is one that I finished while in college.  This young lady was probably taking a bath, but at this point she is just relaxing.  The water is cool and her hat is shading her from the hot sun.  This was my first feminine figure.  I really enjoyed working on this piece.
